Product Warranty by Material Type
Luxury Resin Chairs, Tables and Ottomans
The manufacturer warrants under normal residential conditions and usage, all products will be free from abnormal scratches and/or cracks for a period of 25 years. Does not apply where:
i) discolouration is caused due to exposure to sunlight.
ii) scratches caused by sharp objects, paints, stains, ink or dyes.
iii) there are any indications of neglect or abuse to the Products.
Hardware- Any stainless steel hardware is warranted not to fail for a period of 5 years of residential use. Defective hardware shall be warranted to the original purchaser from the date of purchase.
Craftsman Wood Chairs and Footstools
The Supplier warrants under normal residential conditions and usage, all products will be free from abnormal cracks, discolouration and/or paint peel for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.
Note to our customers: While the life expectancy of an outdoor painted finish is 10-15 years, there is a requirement of regular care and protection of a Craftsman Wood Product against the elements of snow, ice, hail and excessive moisture. Due to the nature of the Product, Sunny Day Chairs cannot extend the warranty beyond 90 days from date of purchase.
Caring For Your Muskoka Chair
Cleaning Your Chair
The best way to care for your Muskoka chairs is to wash them with a MILD SOAP and WATER. It is important to rinse off all the soap so that a film does not appear on the chair. It is best to wipe up any spills as soon as they occur.
Winter Storage
During the winter months, storing the chairs in a shed or garage are the best options. For the Craftsman Wood chairs, covering them with a tarp or plastic is a good alternative. Just be sure that the chairs are dry before they are covered to prevent mold growth. Luxury Resin chairs require minimal attention.
Special Care
Please note: Inevitably birds will drop a gift or two on your Muskoka chair. Some droppings may leave a stain. Never use bleach or a harsh chemical to remove the stain. Again a mild dish soap with water and sunlight over time will remove the stain.
